The bumblebee foundation was established in memory of our son Jarren whom in his 4 1/2 years of life made a tremendous impact on all who knew him and came to know him through his courageous journey.

Jarren loved Transformers. Particularly the Transformer named Bumblebee. Shortly after his passing we, his parents, prayed and asked God for a sign. A sign of comfort. The next day we were followed by a bumblebee and thought nothing of it until watching his favorite movie, Transformers for what seemed like the thousandth time.
At one point in the movie Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots (the good guys) introduces the Transformers to the main character, Sam. It was when he turned to Sam and said, "you already know your guardian, Bumblebee." Epiphany! Guardian! Bumblebee! Jarren! That's the sign from God!
Since then we continue to be followed by many "random" bumblebee sightings. We have learned that as the sting of life and loss is incredibly painful, God is there to comfort us and those that continue to seek Him.
